What actually moves your price?

Artificial turf installation pricing depends on the preparation, materials, access, and expertise your project requires. It also reflects the company’s ability to stand behind the finished work.

• Base preparation. How much existing material needs to come out, and how much new base goes beneath your turf.
• Drainage. Your soil, slope, and existing drainage conditions affect what preparation your yard needs.
• Access. Narrow gates, slopes, and limited backyard access can increase labor and material handling.
• Turf choice. Face weight, pile height, and backing vary. We match the product to how you will use your space.
• Material widths. Roll widths, layout, and grass direction affect how much turf your project requires, including cutting and waste.

Look beyond the number of years on a warranty

A long warranty can sound reassuring, but the details matter. A manufacturer’s turf warranty and a contractor’s installation warranty cover different things. Ask what each covers, what is excluded, and who pays for removal, labor, disposal, and reinstallation if replacement becomes necessary.

Then look at the company making the promise. If a contractor has been in business for five years and advertises a 15-year warranty, ask who backs that coverage and how claims are handled. A newer company may do excellent work, but a long warranty promise deserves a closer look at its written terms and track record.

Because of what is in the price. Every lawn install includes up to 3 inches of base material and our two-year installation warranty, on top of the turf itself. We would rather show you exactly what you are paying for than hand you the lowest number on the table.

What is included

Every turf installation includes base material, seaming material, infill material if required, and labor. Pre-installation prep work is $1.00 per square foot. Borders are priced by the product you choose. Drainage, dirt work and sand bunkers are priced by your estimator based on your yard.

Minimums and small jobs

Minimums do apply. A small area still needs a crew, a truck, base material and haul away, so the cost per square foot climbs on very small projects. Putting greens carry a $2,500 project minimum. Have a small strip or a side yard? Call us. We will find the most cost-effective way to get it done, including pairing it with another area of your yard.

Does artificial turf get hot in Arizona?

Yes. Synthetic turf runs hotter than natural grass in direct summer sun. Shade, cooling infill options, lighter fiber choices and a quick rinse with the hose all help, and we will talk through the realistic options for your yard.

Can I get a city rebate for turf?

A rebate is a nice bonus, but the real savings with turf is never paying to water grass again. Some Arizona cities run grass removal programs, and the rules vary by city. Some can work alongside a turf project when part of the yard goes to desert landscaping and turf goes where you want usable green space. Most programs require approval before any grass comes out, so check with your city before demo day and we will help you plan the layout.
