Artificial Turf Installation in Gilbert
Gilbert started as a railroad stop. In 1902 William "Bobby" Gilbert gave land to the Arizona Eastern Railway, and by 1911 the farms around the tracks were shipping so much of it that the town was known as the Hay Capital of the World. The hay fields have turned into neighborhoods, but Gilbert never lost that farm town feel.

From hay town to the biggest town in America
Gilbert incorporated on July 6, 1920, and for decades it stayed a small farm town. Then the East Valley found it. Today Gilbert is home to more than 280,000 people and is the most populous incorporated town in the United States, and it still calls itself a town.
The old center is the Heritage District, where the color-changing water tower lights up the skyline at night. Agritopia, at Higley and Ray, kept a working farm in the middle of the neighborhood. Morrison Ranch spreads across 3,000 acres, and Power Ranch has more than 26 miles of trails. And the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch turned 110 acres, including 70 acres of water recharge basins, into a place where close to 300 bird species have been spotted.
Gilbert takes water seriously, and so do the families who live here. A lot of them are done paying to water a lawn that browns out every summer, but they still want green where it counts. Where the kids play. Where the dog does laps. Where the neighbors end up after the game. So we put turf where it earns its keep and leave the rest to the desert.
From the Heritage District to Morrison Ranch, and out to Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and Mesa, we are proud to work in Gilbert and across the East Valley.

Why Gilbert homeowners make the switch
Water is the big one. Turf eliminates routine lawn irrigation, and keeping grass alive through an East Valley summer takes a lot of it. For the full math on what a grass lawn costs to keep alive in Arizona, read The Real Numbers Behind Your Lawn Upgrade.
Then there is the time. No mowing, no fertilizer, no overseeding, and no patching dead spots every summer. Turf does need a little care: a rinse now and then, a brush on high traffic areas, and regular cleanup in pet areas. It is far less work than keeping real grass alive in the desert.
Monsoon season matters here too. Every install sits on up to 3 inches of base material graded so water drains down and away. For storm season care tips, read Monsoon and Your Turf.
And yes, turf gets hot in direct summer sun. Shade, cooling infill options, lighter fiber choices and a quick rinse with the hose all help. We also check for energy efficient Low-E windows that can reflect concentrated sun onto turf, and we will walk your yard and show you where sun exposure matters.
Water rebates in Gilbert
A rebate is a nice bonus, but the real savings with turf is never paying to water grass again. Gilbert offers a grass removal rebate for residents who replace grass with low-water landscaping. Rebates are limited and handed out first come, first served, and you need pre-approval from the Town before any grass comes out. Check the Town of Gilbert grass removal rebate page for current rules and how turf fits your plan, and we will help you lay out the yard so turf goes where you want usable green space.
